Anna & Vinny's at-home family shoot

FAMILY SHOOT

What to expect from an at-home family shoot and some handy tips to prepare…

I loved this spring shoot @the.barn.laddingford These images were a gift to the children’s grandmother for her 70th birthday surprise. It was such a fun shoot for a lovely family and there were so many special moments captured.

Each family session is unique because no child or parent are ever the same. So we get lots of variety all without the use of props… because you and your children are special enough just as you are.

We’ll use your home or outdoor space as the backdrop, providing you with authentic photographs that your family will treasure so that when you look back at them in years to come, you’ll remember not only that special moment in time but also the place you called home.

Booking an at-home shoot is a relaxing experience. It really shouldn’t be stressful, It’s fun! We will get some beautiful shots of you and your family.

Here are my top tips to keep your shoot calm and relaxed…

1. Think about what you and your family are going to wear before the day, soft neutrals and whites are always a winner. Try and co-ordinate or compliment each other - it will look better in the photos. Try to stick to 3-4 colours.

2. Be ready and dressed before I arrive, which means less stress for you.

3. Make sure you and your children are fed and watered before I arrive. So the children are happy and ready to have some fun!

4. Keep the space tidy so the backdrop in your photos will look beautiful.

5. If your children love music, put their favourite tunes on! We’ll get some great natural shots of them goofing around too!

Love, Sarah x
